Your questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
Are calculator results guaranteed?
No. Returns and inflation are assumptions. Market returns vary, costs and taxes can change results, and investments can lose value.
When are SIP contributions assumed to happen?
The SIP and goal tools assume contributions at the start of each month and an annual assumed rate divided by twelve for monthly compounding.
Does the retirement tool include my existing assets?
No. It estimates future expenses, a corpus and a monthly contribution without deducting existing savings or pension income. Taxes are excluded.
How do STP and SWP calculations work?
STP transfers occur at the start of each month before growth. SWP withdrawals occur at month end after assumed growth. Both exclude taxes and exit loads.
